George Leach’s rich musical history was born and bred in his upbringing as a child of the Sta’atl’imx Nation. Nestled in the majestic mountain terrain of Lillooet, British Columbia Canada, George’s soulful rock-driven music derived from a cherished tradition of Aboriginal and mainstream music. Since the release of his debut album, Just Where I’m At, George Leach has been on the road, a sought-after North America. He has shared the stage with such talented artist as Robben Ford, Jeff Healey, Great Big Sea, Tom Cochrane, and Bo Diddley as well as at such privileged festivals as: The Frostbite Festival in Whitehorse, Yukon, Annual Folklore Show, Sundance Film Festival, Northern Lights Festival, and the Winnipeg Folk Festival. George has also been invited to perform on the nationally-televised special, The National Aboriginal Achievement Awards, the North American Indigenous Games, First Peoples Cultural Foundation and the opening of the Grand Hall-Museum of Civilization in Ottawa.
